Dr. Kimberly Hunter Clayton DNP MBA APRN-C AGPCNP-C PMHNP-BC dual certified Doctoral prepared Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a young girl, she assisted her grandmother with taking care of people in her community. It was those experiences that grew her passion for nursing. Dr Clayton began her medical field in her hometown of Meridian, MS in 1997. Since her move to Jacksonville, Florida, she has obtained additional degrees.

Dr. Clayton is a 2011 kidney and pancreas recipient. She is an advocate for Donate Life Florida. As a member of the National Kidney Foundation, she petitioned Governor Ron DeSantis to establish April as National Donate Month in the state of Florida. She has been invited to numerous speaking engagements on kidney disease and prevention. Dr. Clayton was selected in 2023 to be a guest speaker at the National Kidney walk in Jacksonville.
